Love is the process of producing life. God is love.[1] He produces life.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Joh 3:16 *
In Him (Jesus) was life, and the life was the light of men. Joh 1:4
As long as I am in the world, I am the Light of the world. Joh 9:5
Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but by Me. Joh 14:6
The thief does not come except to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come so that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Joh 10:10
I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. As I have loved (enlivened) you, you should also love (enliven) one another. By this all shall know that you are My disciples, if you have love toward one another. Joh 13:34-35
Abide in Me (life,) and I (life) in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit[2] (life) of itself unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. Joh 15:4
Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart, 1 Pet 1:22 ESV
We love Him because He first loved us. 1 Joh 4:19
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 1 Joh 4:11
What a source of joy! Jesus said that there’s more happiness in giving than in receiving.[3] And we have been given the awesome privilege of being his co-workers,[4] giving people life! That’s why he, the light of the world, told us, his disciples, “you are the light of the world.”[5] Because he is no longer in the world, we are his ambassadors.[6]
When those who are rightly disposed to everlasting life[7] see the life of Jesus in you, they come to the light, they answer God’s call.[8] Then you have the joy-producing opportunity to share Jesus with them.[9]
So, my dear brothers and sisters, let your life shine with love, joy, and peace.[10]
