Our Father in heaven, may your nature be vindicated through our allegiance to Christ Jesus, our king who teaches us and empowers us to do your work.
Give us today the resources we need, both physical and spiritual, for life and godliness. And forgive us our myriad imperfections to the same degree that we forgive our neighbors. Teach us to resist temptations so as to endure to the end, and thereby defeat the great tempter.
For yours are the legitimate government, and power, and majesty forever.[i]
Amen.
